Who is entitled to order earlier?

The offer is available to students of the FHNW, HSLU, PHLU, PHGR and ZHAW.

If you order between August 12 and September 2, we guarantee a timely delivery of your laptop until the start of your studies or until the installation days at your university. 

The Neptun Wave Fall opens for all students on Monday, 2 September, at noon. You can still order, but please note the delivery time indicated for each device.

Please note that your order will only be placed after payment. Choose prepayment as payment method and settle the invoice as soon as possible or pay with a credit card to ensure fast processing.

If you have chosen a technical field of study, please pay attention to the labels (ZHAW-T or FHNW-T) when selecting your laptop. If you use CAD software in your studies (Siemens NX, Dassault, Vectorworks, ARCHICAD), then only those laptop models are suitable which have a CAD-cert. label, i.e. a professional, certified graphics card.

What do you get for the price at Projekt Neptun?

  • Lenovo ThinkPad are high quality business laptops as well. These laptop models also come with a three-year worldwide on-site warranty. 
  • The offered configurations are meaningful and coordinated: When comparing offers, look at the processor, RAM, the size of the hard disk and whether it is a fast SSD or an HDD. Also the resolution of the display is often lower (FHD instead of higher resolution).
  • All Apple MacBook Pro models come with a three-year warranty: Apple or our reseller for the first year, and our reseller for the second and third years. 
  • The Neptun Help Point at the University of Basel, University of Lucerne and ETH Zurich can help you with technical problems and questions. The first 30 minutes of support are free. You can call us, send us an e-mail or come by.

We can still offer most support services via remote support. For emergencies that cannot be solved remotely, our Help Point at ETH Zurich is still open. In both cases, advance reservation by e-mail is mandatory.
