Microsoft Surface Offers Fall 2020: From Pro 7 to Pro X

To get the best possible discount from Microsoft, we have reshaped our Surface offers into a new format: Microsoft Surface products will be available during two sales weekends, where all Surface Pro 7 and Pro X devices will be on offer. The Surface Pro 7 will be bundled with a Type Cover and Surface Pen of your choice, while the Pen will be optional for the Pro X. All configurations of the Surface Pro and X models, and all colors and types of Type Cover and Pen will be available for purchase.

Surface Pro 7

The Surface Pro 7 is the latest refinement of Microsoft’s popular Surface Pro line. It features Intel’s new 10^th gen 10 nm CPU with their vastly improved graphics cores; a package that can deliver excellent performance. The port selection is still small, but due to the flexible nature of USB-C and the proprietary Surface port, you can use adapters to connect anything you might need to the Pro 7. The Surface Pro 7 is configurable from a low-end i3 with 4 GB of Ram and a 128 GB SSD up to a powerful i7 with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD space. All models up to the i5 are passively cooled and thus silent, while the i7 model is actively cooled for consistently high performance.

Surface Pro X

The Surface Pro X features an ARM CPU of a similar type as you might find in a cellphone. It comes with a larger 13” display, and a newly designed Type Cover and Surface Pen. The whole package is very slim and well-built. The Pro X delivers good performance in optimized apps, and thanks to its power-efficient components, it boasts good battery life. The downside to the special architecture of the CPU is that many important programs will either not run at all, or they will have to use a slow emulator, since they’re programmed for a different platform. This makes the Pro X a great secondary device for media consumption and writing tasks, especially with the accurate pen, but it is unsuitable as a main device for most people.
