Warranty Information

Apple laptops come with a one-year standard warranty. In addition, customers in Switzerland are protected by the Swiss defects liability law. Furthermore, all customers who have bought an Apple device are entitled to 90 days of Apple Telephone Support (as of delivery date).

You can check your warranty status with the Online Service Assistant.

How to Proceed in Case of a Defect

Valid for devices that were bought before the Neptun Wave Fall 2016:

If your device is defective and still covered by the warranty (see above for checking warranty status) you can contact the AppleCare Team by calling 0848 000 132. AppleCare should be contacted in the following cases:

  • Defective or damaged device
  • 90 days of telephone support for devices not covered under the AppleCare Protection Plan
  • 3 years of telephone support for Neptun laptops (covered by the AppleCare Protection Plan)
  • DoA (Dead on arrival): DoA's must be registered within 10 days of delivery. Apple will then exchange the device.

Please have you order and serial numbers ready when calling the hotline. The date of delivery is the relevant date for all deadlines. The Apple warranty is valid worldwide and may be claimed from any authorized Apple Service Provider.

For devices bought during the Neptun Wave Fall 2016 or later, please contact Dataquest directly.
