Warehouse sale: an ode to the last three years

Over the past three years, we've gotten a bit out of our usual rhythm: Signing NDAs with HP and Lenovo in March, discussing the latest laptop models with the manufacturers, configuring in June and pre-ordering for the fall. Four to six weeks later, our warehouses are filled and we are ready for the respective Fall Wave. At the end of November, we make slight adjustments for the Spring Wave, lowering prices slightly where possible and reordering smaller quantities. But in 2020, as we all know, everything changed and delivery times were now four to six months instead of four to six weeks. Dutiful and responsible as we are, we pre-ordered properly. 

But then everything turned out differently than planned...


After a difficult and uncertain 2020 and a 2021 marked by component shortages, everything slowly returned to normal in 2022. However, the improvement only became apparent after we had placed double the amount of our advance orders. By September 2022, our warehouses were not only well stocked, they were bursting at the seams. The Fall 2022 Wave passed and we still had laptops in stock. The market was oversaturated, and retailers' warehouses were also full.

In the Spring 2023 Wave, we were able to reduce the overstocks, but we are still feeling the consequences of our overcautious approach. Now we face the following challenge: We want to offer the latest laptop generation from HP and Lenvo again next fall. To do that, we need to sell the stock beforehand. That's why, even though there is no Neptun Wave, you can buy now. 

Neptun conditions, slightly lower prices


As a non-profit foundation, we already got the best discounts for you in the regular Sales Wave and calculated the price as low as possible. The prices of our "last pieces" have already been lowered after the Fall Wave 2022 and are now a bit lower again for individual devices. We have, with the support of HP and Lenovo and together with our distribution partner, brought out the best for you. So: Grab it, it's got as long as it's got. 

Even if the devices are in stock a little longer, you get the full three-year warranty from the date of purchase. As always, we and our support team will remain available to you after the purchase, whether via email or at a Help Point. The good thing about our offer is exactly that: Whatever the circumstances, we stick to our principles and offer you the usual Neptun service, even after the purchase.
